Welcome to our lab at UConn! The Basin Analysis and Helium Thermochronology Laboratory (BAHTL) houses sample preparation facilities and instrumentation for (U-Th-Sm)/He thermochronology. We collaborate on a range of Earth science projects in tectonics, mountain-building, magmatism, sedimentary basin processes, provenance analysis, long-term landscape evolution, paleoclimate, and more [your project here].
Since the lab was established in 2018, we have supported over 50 students and researchers. Our goal is to work with you collaboratively to generate high-quality thermochronology data and to help you develop an interpretative framework for your findings.
